About
Ventnor Fringe takes place each summer in Ventnor, a small coastal town on England's Isle of Wight, over about ten days of comedy, theatre, circus and live music. Run by Ventnor Exchange, a local not-for-profit arts organisation, the festival makes use of unlikely venues, tents, old churches, secret coves and woodlands, set within a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. That itinerant format and unspoiled natural setting give it a distinct identity among Britain's fringe festivals.
