Vodun Days

Vodun Days takes place in Ouidah, a coastal town in Benin regarded as the spiritual capital of Vodun, and has expanded since 2024 from the national Vodun holiday celebrated every January 10 into a multi-day program. It blends ritual ceremonies (Egungun masquerades, Zangbeto guardians, Mami Wata rites) with concerts and cultural exchanges, moving through landmark sites such as the Slave Route and the Sacred Forest of Kpasse. The event draws visitors from across West Africa and the diaspora to a faith still very much alive in Benin, Togo and Ghana.
