Voiron jazz festival

The Voiron Jazz Festival takes place every year in March in Voiron and neighbouring towns in the Isère department, run by the city and its conservatory in partnership with the Grand Angle concert hall and the Pays Voironnais's cultural venues. It has an "In" programme of a handful of headline concerts at the festival hall featuring established professional jazz artists, and an "Off" programme of around twenty amateur concerts scattered across local cafés, libraries and community halls. Together they bring in several hundred musicians for a mix of professional jazz and amateur performance.
