Wakestock

Wakestock took place on the Llŷn Peninsula in north Wales, between Pwllheli and Abersoch. Starting in 2000 as a wakeboard contest with a car park party, it grew into Europe's largest festival combining wakeboarding and live music, spanning indie rock, dance, grime and rap. Wakeboard competitions ran at Pwllheli Marina while the main music stages were set up at Penrhos, until the event stopped after its 2014 edition.
