Wien im Rosenstolz

Held every October at the Theater am Spittelberg in Vienna's seventh district, this festival is devoted to the Wienerlied, the traditional Viennese song. Founded in 2001 by theatre director Nushin Vossoughi, it presents nearly daily concerts pairing established performers with newcomers, spanning classic repertoire and newer takes on Viennese music.
