WOMAD Aotearoa

WOMAD Aotearoa is New Zealand's leading world music festival, held every March in New Plymouth across Brooklands Park and the Bowl of Brooklands. Based in Taranaki since 2003, it belongs to the international WOMAD (World of Music, Arts and Dance) network, which has spent four decades celebrating global musical diversity. Over several days it brings together international and New Zealand artists, arts, food and cultural exchange in an acclaimed parkland setting.
