Woodstock 50

Woodstock 50 was meant to mark the 50th anniversary of the original 1969 festival, first planned for Watkins Glen and later moved to Merriweather Post Pavilion in Maryland. The project was derailed by permit troubles, the loss of its financial backer and production company, and a wave of artist cancellations, before being officially called off in the summer of 2019. No edition ever took place, and a smaller commemorative event was held instead at the original Bethel, New York site.
