Worcester Music Festival, Massachusetts

Founded in 1858 in Worcester, it ranks among the oldest music festivals in the United States. Now run by Music Worcester, formed in 1996 through a merger with the International Artists Series and the MA Jazz Festival, it presents a season of classical, jazz, folk and world music concerts across several venues in the city. The Worcester Chorus, founded the same year as the festival, performs each season.
