Working Class Hero festival

The Working Class Hero festival takes place in Drammen, Norway, on the Tangenkaia waterfront. Born in 1999 within the Union Rock club community and spun off as its own organization in 2009, it is run entirely by volunteers. Its name pays tribute to the John Lennon song and to the area's working class culture; since 2023 admission has been free for anyone over 18, with a rock lineup mixing Norwegian and international acts.
