World Creole Music Festival

Launched in 1997 by the Dominica Festivals Commission, this event is held over three nights at Windsor Park Sports Stadium in Roseau. It brings together the widest range of Creole and related genres found at any single festival, including zouk, kompa, bouyon, kadans-lypso, soukous, zydeco, soca, calypso, reggae, dancehall and salsa. Iconic acts such as Exile One and Kassav have performed there alongside international artists, making it a major showcase for the Caribbean's French Creole music traditions.
