XLIV Festival del Huaso de Olmué

The Festival del Huaso de Olmué takes place at the El Patagual amphitheater in the town of Olmué, in Chile's Valparaíso region. Founded in 1970 and televised since 1979, it is one of the country's leading showcases for Chilean folk music (cueca, tonadas, rural traditions). It pairs a competition for new talent with headline shows by established artists, all in a convivial, countryside atmosphere.
