Zelena Stsena

Zelena Stsena (Green Stage) is a cultural and social project held each year in the heart of Chernihiv, Ukraine, running since 2011. Through the warm months from May to August, the central square hosts concerts, exhibitions, poetry readings and outdoor film screenings, with an eclectic musical lineup built around local artists. Started by a citizen initiative as an alternative to the city's more conventional cultural programming, it remains something of a one of a kind project in Ukraine.
