Ziro Festival of Music

The Ziro Festival of Music takes place each year in the Ziro Valley of Arunachal Pradesh, on land belonging to the Apatani tribe. Founded in 2012 by Bobby Hano and Anup Kutty, it showcases independent Indian and international acts across genres such as rock, folk, electronic and hip hop, on bamboo stages built by local artisans. The festival is known for its strong eco-friendly ethos, including a zero-plastic policy, set against a backdrop of paddy fields and forested hills.
