Overview
About
Founded in 1992, the European Youth Choir Festival Basel (EJCF) brings together children's and youth choirs from across Europe and beyond every two years around Ascension week. Around twenty selected choirs give more than fifty concerts, services and open-air events throughout the Basel region, ranging from classical choral music to rock, pop, gospel and folk songs. Young singers stay with host families, giving the festival a strong cross-cultural exchange spirit.
