Adelaide Guitar Festival

Adelaide Guitar Festival, founded in 2007 by Douglas Gautier in partnership with the New York Guitar Festival, is Australia's largest festival devoted to the guitar. Held biennially at the Adelaide Festival Centre and long led by guitarist Slava Grigoryan, it spans every style associated with the instrument, from classical and jazz to rock, blues, flamenco, country and even metal. The festival combines performances by international artists, new commissions and events exploring the guitar in all its forms.
