Akbank Jazz Festival

The Akbank Jazz Festival takes place each autumn in Istanbul, organized by the Akbank Sanat cultural foundation. Founded in the late 1980s, it is one of Turkey's longest running and most closely followed jazz festivals, with a program spanning classical and contemporary jazz, Latin jazz, electro jazz and world music. Spread across several venues in the city over two weeks, it brings together international headliners and emerging Turkish jazz talent.
