April Jazz Festival

April Jazz has taken place each spring in Tapiola, a district of Espoo in the Helsinki metropolitan area, since 1987, making it the largest jazz festival in the region. Over the decades its stages have hosted major names such as Ray Charles, Sonny Rollins and Dee Dee Bridgewater alongside Finnish and international artists. The festival extends its intimate atmosphere year round through the April Jazz Club, a concert series held roughly every other Friday at a hotel in central Tapiola.
