Bat Fest

Bat Fest takes place on the Ann W. Richards Congress Avenue Bridge in Austin, the only festival in the city held on a bridge, timed to the dusk flight of more than a million Mexican free-tailed bats roosting underneath. The music lineup, mixing local acts with touring hip-hop and indie headliners, runs alongside a costume contest and a bat-themed arts and crafts market.
