About
The Cairo Jazz Festival takes place in Cairo, Egypt, across several venues including the American University in Cairo and the El Sawy Culturewheel cultural centre. Launched in 2009 by musician and organiser Amro Salah, it has become a fixture of Cairo's cultural calendar, bringing together Egyptian and international artists around jazz and its many fusions. Beyond concerts, it offers workshops, film screenings, and a children's programme, reflecting its spirit of cultural exchange between Egypt and the wider world.
