Copenhagen Jazz Festival

Copenhagen Jazz Festival has run since 1979, carrying forward the Danish capital's jazz tradition, which in the 1950s and 60s already drew American greats such as Dexter Gordon and Ben Webster to the city. Now one of Europe's largest jazz festivals, it spreads across more than a hundred venues around town, from intimate clubs to major concert halls, hosting well over a thousand concerts.
