Écouter Pour L’instant

Run by the Bergerac based association Manège Music, this festival of exploratory and singular music takes over unusual venues across the Périgord, from churches and chapels to halls and meadows, for concerts of improvised and world music. Founded in 2006 by Véronique Gouband, it originally toured several villages in the Dordogne, later settled for a few years in Queyssac, then went itinerant again between Queyssac, Montfaucon and Bergerac. The focus stays on attentive listening and close encounters between artists and audience in heritage settings well suited to acoustic music.
