Festival Chants d'Elles

Chants d'Elles is a festival devoted to songs and music performed by women, held each autumn in Rouen and several towns of its metropolitan area. Founded more than twenty five years ago, it brings together dozens of concerts spanning jazz, blues, soul, folk, rock, French chanson and world music. Committed to greater visibility for women artists in a field where they remain a minority on stage, it also carries out awareness work on gender equality in music.
