Festival de Jazz de Paraty

Known as the Bourbon Festival Paraty, this event takes over the streets and cobblestone squares of Paraty, a historic town listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in Rio de Janeiro state. Over several days it offers many hours of free music blending jazz, blues and Brazilian sounds, with national and international artists, in an atmosphere inspired by New Orleans, the birthplace of jazz. Now in its fifteenth edition, it ranks among Brazil's leading jazz festivals.
