Festival de l'anche

Founded in 2000 by musician Michel Pellegrino, the Festival de l'anche takes place in Hyères, in the Var department, and celebrates reed instruments such as the saxophone, clarinet and oboe, spanning jazz and classical music. It combines concerts with a professional trade fair centred on reed making and Provençal cane, workshops, and a competition for young musicians, the Anche d'Or.
