About
Founded in the early 1980s, the Festival du Périgord Noir presents baroque and classical concerts, with occasional jazz, across some twenty heritage venues in the Sarlat area, including the abbey of Saint Amand de Coly, the château de Hautefort, Sarlat cathedral and various gardens. Since 2002 it has hosted an international baroque music academy that trains young singers and instrumentalists.
