Founded in 1991 in Bain-de-Bretagne, in the Ille-et-Vilaine department, the Festival du Schmoul takes place each January around a rock lineup. The event maintains a playful, offbeat identity, built around the fictional "Schmoul" figure as its unifying mascot.
