Festival Gnaoua y Músicas del Mundo de Esauira

Since the late 1990s, this festival has taken over the squares and lanes of Essaouira's medina, a port city in Morocco, bringing Gnaoua music into dialogue with jazz and world music. The lineup pairs traditional maalems with international artists on open-air stages, alongside talks and educational workshops.
