Festival MED 2024

Festival MED takes place each year in the medieval old town of Loulé, in Portugal's Algarve region, running since 2004. Dedicated to world music, it brings artists from dozens of countries to open-air stages threaded through the historic streets, alongside a craft market, street theatre and international food stalls. The intimate setting of the fortified town's squares and alleyways, combined with African, Latin and Mediterranean sounds, makes it a highlight of the Algarve summer.
