Festival Jazz du plateau picard

Festival Jazz du plateau picard takes place in and around Wavignies, in the Oise department, usually in autumn, organised by the Communauté de communes du Plateau Picard. It combines jazz concerts with an educational and outreach programme: school workshops, jazz and improvisation classes led by professional musicians, film screenings and discussion evenings. The festival places as much emphasis on passing on the music to the local audience as on discovering it.
