Festival Jazz Manouche

Created in 2012 in the village of Zillisheim, in Alsace, as a tribute to musician Mito Loeffler, the Festival Jazz Manouche is one of the rare French events devoted entirely to gypsy jazz. Guitar, upright bass, violin and accordion take center stage, in the spirit of Django Reinhardt's music, performed by artists who keep this repertoire alive rather than blending it with other jazz styles. Held over several days, the festival has welcomed noted names from the gypsy jazz scene such as Ninine Garcia and Yorgui Loeffler.
