Festival Jazz Pourpre Perigord

The Jazz Pourpre en Périgord festival takes place in Bergerac and nearby wine-growing communes, including Gardonne and the Château de Monbazillac, where some concerts are held among the wine cellars. Founded in the mid 2000s, it presents jazz concerts without committing to a single strand of the genre, from intimate quartets to larger ensembles. Part of the program, notably the weekend in Gardonne, is free to attend.
