Fiestas del Sol

The Fiestas del Sol take place every year at the Centro de Ferias, Eventos y Exposiciones (FEX) in Mexicali and are regarded as the most important fair in northwestern Mexico. The event blends regional Mexican music (banda, norteño, corridos) at its palenque and Isla de las Estrellas stage with food stalls and family activities. Well known regional Mexican acts perform, drawing crowds from across Baja California.
