FMM Sines - Festival Músicas do Mundo

Founded in 1999 in Sines, on Portugal's Alentejo coast, FMM (Festival Músicas do Mundo) is one of the country's largest world music gatherings. Organized by the municipality, its July program unfolds across historic and urban venues facing a protected coastline, blending jazz, folk, fado, reggae, electronic music, fusion and many other traditions from across the globe. Under the motto "music with a spirit of adventure," it draws large crowds eager to discover artists from around the world.
