About
WOMAD Charlton Park ran from 2007 to 2024 at Charlton Park near Malmesbury, Wiltshire, taking over from WOMAD Reading. Spread across three and a half days on the last weekend of July, it featured up to seven stages mixing world music with blues, jazz, hip-hop, electronic and rock acts, alongside participatory workshops where audiences could meet visiting artists. Rooted in the spirit Peter Gabriel first brought to WOMAD, this eclectic, family-oriented gathering has since moved to Neston Park.
