French Quarter Fest

French Quarter Fest takes place each spring in New Orleans' French Quarter, spread across roughly twenty outdoor stages set among the historic streets and the Mississippi riverfront. Founded in 1984, it offers free admission to all performances and books exclusively Louisiana-based musicians, spanning traditional jazz, blues, zydeco, brass band and gospel.
