Genk on Stage

Born in 1982 as Swingin' Genk before the city took over its organisation in 2002 and renamed it Genk on Stage, this free festival fills the centre of Genk, in Belgian Limburg, every last weekend of June. Spread across more than ten stages, it offers an eclectic mix of rock, hip hop, pop, dance and world music, blending Belgian and international acts with local bands. It is now the largest free city festival in Limburg, drawing over a hundred thousand visitors each year.
