Hollywood Rock

Hollywood Rock was a Brazilian rock festival held in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo between 1988 and 1996, sponsored by the cigarette brand of the same name. It hosted major international headliners, most notably its 1993 edition featuring Nirvana, Alice in Chains and L7 at the height of the grunge wave. The festival ended after Brazil banned tobacco companies from sponsoring cultural events.
