Homegrown Music Festival (New Zealand)

Homegrown Music Festival was for years a summer fixture on Wellington's waterfront in New Zealand, before relocating to Hamilton from 2026 onward. Entirely devoted to homegrown New Zealand talent, it mixes reggae, rock, pop, hip hop, RnB and dance music across several stages spread through the city. Beyond the music, the day includes sports and cultural activities, and the festival grew over the years into a genuine local institution drawing tens of thousands of attendees.
