Jazz à Ouaga

Jazz à Ouaga is a jazz festival held in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, since 1992, launched by the former director of the French Cultural Centre together with a group of jazz enthusiasts. It brings together national and international bands for concerts, jam sessions, exhibitions and talks. Once seen as an elitist gathering, it has gradually become a fixture of Burkina Faso's cultural landscape.
