Jazz à Saint-Germain-des-Prés

Founded in 2001 in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district of Paris, often described as a birthplace of jazz in Europe, the festival takes place each May in landmark venues of the neighbourhood such as the Odéon theatre and the Saint-Germain-des-Prés church. Its programming favours contemporary jazz creations and event concerts rather than a straightforward lineup of headliners.
