About
Founded in 1999 in Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse, in the Chevreuse valley southwest of Paris, this festival takes place each spring around the Espace Jean Racine, under the patronage of drummer André Ceccarelli. Originally centered on jazz, its programming has broadened to include blues, French chanson and rock, while still featuring established French jazz names such as Stéphane Belmondo and Biréli Lagrène.
