Jazz au ranquet

Every summer this festival brings music to Le Ranquet, a former fishing hamlet in Istres, with several evenings of free concerts held with feet in the sand facing the Étang de Berre. The lineup leans on gypsy jazz, swing, groove and flamenco-tinged sets, including tributes to jazz figures such as Michel Petrucciani. Free shuttles and on-site food stands complete this laid-back lakeside gathering.
