La Rochelle Jazz Festival

The festival takes place each autumn in La Rochelle's old harbour, between the Saint Nicolas and Chaîne towers, which gives it its name. Founded nearly thirty years ago, it presents a jazz lineup open to related genres such as funk, brass and world music, with artists including James Carter and the Youngblood Brass Band.
