About
The Havana International Jazz Plaza Festival is held every January in Havana, Cuba, and stands as one of the major gatherings for Cuban and international jazz. Founded by Bobby Carcassés and now led by pianist Chucho Valdés, it brings together Cuban musicians and foreign guests for concerts alongside an international jazz colloquium, with editions extending to other Cuban cities such as Santiago de Cuba and Santa Clara.
