Jazzfest Berlin

Jazzfest Berlin takes place in Berlin, notably at the Haus der Berliner Festspiele and the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtnis-Kirche. It offers concerts, workshops, film screenings, jam sessions and discussions centred on contemporary jazz, improvisation and creative music. The festival presents itself as a meeting place between tradition and the future, local perspectives and global experiences, and different communities and forms of expression.
