Jazzpote

The Thionville jazz festival, in the Moselle department, has been organised since 2004 by the volunteer-run Jazzpote association; it carried the name Jazzpote Festival for eighteen editions before becoming the Thionville Jazz Festival. Concerts are held mainly at the Théâtre municipal de Thionville, prized for its elegant setting and acoustics, alongside numerous free open-air concerts on the theatre's forecourt and Place Anne-Grommerch. The lineup blends jazz headliners, emerging talent and street brass bands through the city centre.
