Journées Gaston Couté

The Journées Gaston Couté take place every autumn in Meung-sur-Loire, in the Loiret, honoring the poet and songwriter Gaston Couté, born in Beaugency in 1880 and raised in the town. Organized by the town's cultural department together with local associations, the event features concerts, song recitals, open stages and exhibitions centered on French chanson and the folk culture of the Beauce region.
