Journées internationales de la harpe dans la Caraïbe et en Guyane

Launched in Martinique in 1993 to mark the centenary of harpist Lily Laskine, this itinerant event run by the Glissando association later expanded to Guadeloupe and French Guiana. It brings together musicians and audiences from the Caribbean, Guiana and beyond for concerts, workshops and encounters that pair the harp with local instruments and traditions. The gathering also raises awareness of marine conservation and celebrates Caribbean cultural heritage.
