Kayenn jazz festival

Held annually in Cayenne, French Guiana, since 2006, the Kayenn Jazz Festival is considered the city's leading cultural and musical event. It brings together jazz artists from French Guiana as well as Brazil, Suriname, Guyana, the United States, Africa, Mauritius, Europe and the Caribbean. The festival also runs introductory music workshops and now takes place at Place des Amandiers, after several years held at the Botanical Garden.
