Kongsberg Jazzfestival

Founded in 1964 in the mining town of Kongsberg, Norway, this jazz festival takes place in early July across several venues in town, including Energimølla, Kongsberg church and the municipal theatre. It programs both internationally established jazz artists and emerging Norwegian talent, and each year presents the Kongsberg Jazz Award, the country's largest jazz prize.
